Dorset Cream Teas
 
Originally run exclusively by the Mackrell Charity, the cream teas are now franchised so that local charities and organisations can also have this opportunity to generate extra income and publicise their groups and their activities.
 
Every Saturday and Sunday (and Bank Holiday Monday) 2.30 - 5.30pm, between April and September, the Old School hosts these deliciously indulgent Dorset Cream Teas.
 
What We Do - What You Do
 
We provide the venue, the kitchen facilities, tables, chairs, tablecloths, crockery, cutlery, even the tea, coffee and sugar.
 
All you have to do is provide the helpers, scones, jam, cream, cakes, cookies and whatever else you would like to serve.
 
As well as any items you may wish to sell - such as bric-a-brac, second-hand books, plants or produce - you can also display information about your organisation in the form of noticeboards, leaflets, posters etc.
